Bonnie  - Training Photos, Videos and Updates

Pawsitive Notes - Tracking Bonnie's Milestones

Got a Question?

  • 4/7/21 - Bonnie is adjusting very well. She has stopped reacting towards the other dogs when passing by her crate, or when she goes past them. Next step is to begin working with Drogo. She still has a heightened reaction to squirrels and other critters when outside.
She loves our son, and all the rest of us, so she has fully embraced the humans. Such a sweetie.
  • 4/9/21 - Big step in the right direction today for Bonnie, successfully going on a walk with Drogo. She was nervous, but curious and interested. No lunging, or aggression.
  • 4/14/21 - Bonnie's been pretty excited on all of her walks recently, and she’s been doing very well, despite pulling most of the walk. She is improving and is learning to let up, but she still has a ways to go on this skill.
  • 4/16/21 - Bonnie's been so sweet and so easy to work with. She’s been doing really great on all her walks and needs very few corrections. We’re working on her obedience, and introducing dogs through the fence.
  • 4/18/21 - Bonnie had a huge breakthrough this weekend! She met Drogo through the fence with no reactions, and a friendly disposition, so we then introduced them in person. Bonnie did wonderfully with Drogo, and they had a great meeting. She also ate grass with Drogo, through the fence, with no reactions (see video below).
  • 4/21/21 - Bonnies doing very well on walks and obedience, but she’s been showings signs of resource guarding during feeding times. We are working to correct her when she does.
  • 4/25/21 - Bonnie’s been going on lots of walks and working on her obedience recently. She’s been doing great on walks, and is no longer reacting to other dogs on leash.
  • 4/28/21 - Bonnie is still doing great on all her walks. She rarely needs any correction and follows along nicely. Her obedience has been going great also, and she listens very well.
  • 5/1/21 - Bonnie had a major breakthrough today! She ran, played and had fun with the pack! We started out with her on leash, and then let her off leash once she became comfortable, and knew she was safe. The pack absolutely loved Bonnie and her energy, and she made many new dog friends!
  • 5/5/21 - Bonnie is continuing to grow by leaps and bounds. She is excited to play with the other dogs now, and is becoming a stable, strong pack member!
  • 5/9/21 - Bonnie's been doing stellar on her walks as usual and hasn’t been needing any corrections. She crates up really well and is all around super well behaved.
