BRUCE  - Training Photos, Videos and Updates

Pawsitive Notes - Tracking BRUCE's Milestones

Got a Question?

  • 7/16 - Bruce is out in the full pack and doing very well with his interactions. He's engaging in play, but is getting a bit worked up, so we are working the "gentle" command, to get him to settle a bit and be less domineering in play.
  • 7/19 - Bruce is doing better with listening to the trainers when he's overzealous in play. He's also doing better paying attention to the social cues from the other dogs when they either don't want to engage or don't like his play style.
  • ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  • 10/15 - Bruce was a little nervous to start but after a matter of hours, started wagging his tail. He had an excellent walk and is very obedient. We passed a couple of dogs on the sidewalk and he showed nervousness and uncertainty, but did well. We also passed numerous people during the walk. Again, he was nervous, but no issues. Great start!
  • 10/17 - Another great walk. Bruce got out in a small pack today. He was a little nervous but did well for his first pack experience.
  • 10/19 - Bruce is out in the full pack now and is seeking to play with some of the other dogs! He's working on building his confidence in greetings and play.
  • 10/22 - Ran into some dogs barking at a fence line today that got Bruce worked up. Took a few times to listen to "Leave-It." We will continue to work that. :)
  • 10/23 - Bruce is doing very well socializing with the other dogs in the pack now. He is eager to receive attention from the trainers as well. He seems much more comfortable and is wanting to romp around and have lots of fun!
  • 10/26 - Bruce's obedience is great! He's interacting well in the pack both with general socialization and play. He is still barking, however, at new people in the office.
  • 10/29 - Great play today. Tougher walk. Walked with friend Finn, which provided extra distraction and challenge. Bruce got worked up with some dogs barking at the fence and struggled with "Leave-It." Will continue to work.
  • 10/30 - Excellent walk today! Passed another dog on the sidewalk and Bruce stayed very calm. He was only curious and wanted to smell where the other dog had passed. Zero issues today!
  • 10/31 - Near perfect walk today! Had to tell Bruce to "Leave-It" a few times to stay focused on the work of the walk. Beautiful heel and sitting at intersections when told. Passed some kids on the sidewalk and he completely ignored them.
  • 11/2 - Bruce did well today with pack play and pack walks! Such a happy guy!
