  • ​8/22/21 - Cookie is doing a great job acclimating to her new surroundings, and is already warming up to us. She did very well on the training collar, and did not try to grab the leash even once. She did display reactivity towards other dogs on the walk, and we are working to correct that behavior.
  • 8/25/21 - Cookie hit a major milestone today, making friends with trainer dog Drogo and packmate Reuben! She was a little unsure at first, but did a great job reading social cues, and enjoyed playing with them. We will continue these interactions to build her confidence. We are continuing to see the reactive behaviors on walks and on leash, and are working through those with her.
  • 9/2/21 - Cookie continues to improve her socialization skills, and is having a wonderful time running and playing with the Pack. We are steadily working on her leash reactivity, and she is showing progress on her walks. We have also observed some demand barking in her crate, when other dogs are being moved in and out, and are working to correct this behavior.
  • 9/6/21 - Cookie has graduated to an even bigger pack! We are continuing to work on her leash reactivity and recall, and basic obedience just as sit/stay, as well working to correct her demand barking. We are also doing some impulse control work, for instance having her wait with the Pack for her turn to get a treat. She is doing a great job learning her new skills!
  • 9/8/21 - Cookie is doing a great job on her off leash recall training! We have added a video below to demonstrate the training technique for continued practice at home. She is still reactive on leash walks, but is showing improvement. and is responsive to corrections.
