ELEVEN  - Training Photos, Videos and Updates

Pawsitive Notes - Tracking Eleven's Milestones

Got a Question?

  • 9/18 - Eleven has fully settled in again and is acting like her fully confident and playful self!
  • 9/16 - Eleven is acting much more like her confident self today and seeking play more and more, although the puppy still annoys her a bit. (Can't blame her there though, as the puppy is learning social skills and cues)!
  • 9/15 - Eleven snapped at a puppy that was in her face this morning. She was given a verbal correction and kept to herself in the pack for the remainder of the morning. By this afternoon, she was engaging a little more with everyone and even attempted play with a couple of the others, but was still just in the exploration/getting to know you stage of play.
  • ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  • 8/20 - Eleven seems very nervous around new people and new situations. Pretty normal for being in a new environment. Takes a few days to adjust.
  • 8/21 - Eleven has warmed up to Jen but is still barking at new dogs in the office and sniffing around her crate.
  • 8/24 - Eleven is doing much better with the new dogs in the office and seems to be fine with anyone around her crate!
  • 8/25 - Eleven got out with Rodeo and Drogo today and absolutely adores Drogo! She is already actively and appropriately engaging in play with him!
  • 8/28 - Excellent walk! Eleven heels extremely well! She sits at intersections when told and listens to "Leave-It" and "Let's go." Only saw a couple of dogs a block away on this walk and she didn't seem interested in them at all. Too far away perhaps.
  • 9/1 - Eleven got out into the full pack and is responding well!
  • 9/3 - Eleven has started engaging in play with members of the pack!
  • 9/5 - More excellent play and social interaction today.
  • 9/8 - New dogs entered into the pack today and Eleven greeted and socialized very appropriately with them.
  • 9/10 - Eleven is still barking a bit at new people, but is getting better at accepting them more quickly.
  • 9/11 - Eleven is super active and playful in the pack now and is starting to give cues to others when she sees them start to push boundaries. The student is becoming the teacher! :P
  • 9/12 - Excellent walk! Very responsive to "Leave-It." Got to pass a couple of dogs. Eleven was eager to interact/excited, but no aggressive cues. Passed people and seemed interested to smell them but otherwise non-engaged.
  • ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  • 11/19 - Eleven is doing well! She's out in the full pack already. She hasn't wanted to play with any of the other members yet, but she's happy to sit and watch. Great walk today as well (although she's showing some reactivity to skateboards).
  • 11/20 - Great walk today. Absolutely effortless. Eleven had the extra challenge of walking with friend Dublin, which is often harder with distractions. She didn't skip a beat! When we got back after the walk, she decided Dublin was pretty cool and got some good romp and play time in with his as well!
  • 11/26 - Eleven is out playing in the pack and having a blast! Such a sweet, little love-bug. We just adore her!
  • 11/27 - Another day of great play and excellent walking. Passed people with no problem, mostly ignored barking dogs and only did a bit of pulling, but very responsive when reminded to heel.
  • ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  • 5/7 - Eleven is back in the swing of things very quickly. She knows the routines around here! She had an excellent walk today, with minimal pulling. She did want to chase a squirrel and received a firm "Leave-It" command, near the park. Once in the park, we ran through basic obedience stuff and spent some time working "Leave-It" with a treat. She did a great job. Such a wonderful girl!
  • 5/8 - Eleven got out with a couple of other pack members and did pretty well. She showed her teeth a little at Horchata, the white dog pictured, but Horchata can be a bit overwhelming as she is learning to read social cues, so it was a good communication experience for both girls. Eleven immediately responded to a verbal correction and disengaged from Horchata. Excellent listening!
  • 5/10 - A fantastic walk today with excellent listening!
  • ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  • 7/8 - Eleven is a little overwhelmed with the energy of the pack and has been showing her teeth to almost everyone that comes up to her. Everyone except Drogo, that is. She completely adores Drogo and tries to cuddle up with him, even in the middle of the pack. It's adorable!
  • 7/9 - And just like that, Eleven has adjusted to the pack. She is back to normal interactions and greetings and even played a bit today with new friend Nina!
  • ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  • 1/13 - Eleven walked in a heel today and worked on sit with distractions. When she showed interest in another dog during her walk, we worked "Leave It." She did not have any negative reaction to bicycles or barking dogs on her walk!
  • 1/14 - Another great walk! No issues with heel, sit/stay in the park with distractions and was perfectly lovely passing multiple dogs on the walk with a preemptive "Leave-It" command. Such a joy to work with!
