Kona LaMonica  - Training Photos, Videos and Updates

Pawsitive Notes - Tracking Kona LaMonica's Milestones

Got a Question?

  • 11/15 - Kona is nervous, but warming up quickly to Jen again and offered up some kisses today!
  • ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  • 1/21 - Kona is still nervous around people, especially men, but he's warming up considerably to Mark.
  • 1/23 - He has not shown any signs of aggression, towards people or dogs. Zero snapping, snarling, growling or lashing out.
  • 1/25 - Kona is doing remarkably well out in the full pack! He is engaging in play, but does get overwhelmed or uncomfortable at times. When in those situations, he simply and calmly disengages from the group and sticks to the edges to compose himself!
  • 1/28 - Kona had an excellent walk today. He was a bit nervous, but heeled well and after a few intersections was sitting on command at every intersection. Excellent work! He sat in the pack and even shook hands. He's very attentive to his surroundings and still a bit skittish with sounds he finds surprising.
  • 1/29 - While still a bit nervous, Kona did much better on his walk today. He showed slightly more confidence when passing people and dogs. Big trucks were still startling, but who can blame him there! He sat on every command and had a beautiful heel, once again. A true joy to walk. He welcomed pets in the park as well. :)
  • ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  • 3/26 - Kona is doing an excellent job of socializing this time around. He's made a few friends in the pack and is having a blast romping around the run with them, while taking the occasional break for intermittent pets from trainers!
  • 3/29 - Kona continues to have a warm and successful stay. He made instant friends with a dog freshly introduced to the pack today and continues to seek affection and give kisses to the trainers. He's such a happy boy!!!
