Lexa  - Training Photos, Videos and Updates

Pawsitive Notes - Tracking Lexa's Milestones

Got a Question?

  • 3/9 - Lexa is adjusting well to the new space and is already out in the full pack having a blast, making new friends and tearing things up (in the good way). She was a little nervous about Jen for the first few minutes in the run, but then threw caution to the wind and was rewarded with lots of pets, love and praise!
  • 3/10 - Lexa is doing a good job of listening while in the pack to commands, such as sit/stay. She then gets super proud of herself and happily runs over to be rewarded with lots of pets and praise. Super cute!
  • 3/11 - Lexa continues to work on listening in the pack and is doing a pretty good job. She needs a few reminders sometimes, but overall is doing a good job, especially if you get your serious tone of voice going. Today, the mailperson showed up and told the pack they were doing a great job not barking and making progress, then held her hand up to the fence for them to sniff! Everyone sniffed at her hand calmly and didn't make a peep! Great work!
  • 3/14 - Lexa is doing a bit better while listening in the pack. She does an excellent job with her sit, but is still struggling with her stay with distractions.
  • 3/17 - Mark's nephew came into the office and Lexa did an excellent job of meeting him and socializing appropriately. She continues to improve, albeit slowly, with listening in the pack and sitting on command with distractions.
  • 3/18 - Lexa had a good walk today. She did a bit of pulling at first, but quickly slowed her pace to a decent heel. She did a good job of listening to commands with distractions on leash!
