Loki - Training Photos, Videos and Updates

Pawsitive Notes - Tracking Loki's Milestones

Got a Question?

  • 7/28 - Loki is pretty nervous in the new environment, however, during this afternoon's pee break, he got out with both Mark and Jen and allowed some pets from both of them. He would come when called and hop in the kiddie pool to cool off his feet and grab a drink, while soaking up some affection as well!
  • 7/31 - Loki is warming up. He gets super excited when Jen comes in the office and cries if she doesn't immediately go say hi to him. Today, he let her give him butt pets for minutes on end and soaked them up. He still seems unsure at times, but his confidence is definitely growing.
  • 8/3 - Loki is out in the full pack and having a good time interacting with everyone. He's warmed up to Jen and Mark and will actively seek pets now.
  • 8/7 - Loki continues to do well with the pack, for the most part. He did get a little vocal around Jen today when others came near, showing a bit of possessiveness and got a quick squirt from the hose as a correction and told to get out. After a few minutes, he was allowed to come back and try again. He did much better at not being possessive the second time around.
  • 8/10 - Loki has done extremely well with the various people he's come in contact with, though he still has done some growling at dogs over the water bowl. Today, he did some barking at the mail lady and turned on Jen for a second when she went to grab his collar. He quickly corrected himself and didn't proceed with the attitude, but still got some verbal correction for the mode in general. He sat quickly and apologetically.
