  • ​8/27/21 - Sandy Koufax is settling in to his new surroundings, and is already warming up to us! He is enjoying the training area, and having a great time showing us his zoomies! We are observing some aggressive resource guarding reactions towards the other dogs in their crates when food is involved, and we are working to correct that.
  • 8/29/21 - Sandy had an escalation in his resource guarding behavior today, aggressively going after another dog in their crate, while he was eating his food. Due to our safety protocols, all dogs were safe, and we were able to successfully correct this. We will continue to monitor him and reinforce appropriate behaviors.
  • 8/30/21 - Today, another dog approached Sandy's crate and ate some food that had fallen outside of it, and he showed no reaction! We are encouraged by this progress.
  • 9/1/21 - Sandy displayed some increased aggressive behavior today, attacking another dog's crate without provocation when passing by, and without food involved. We corrected this behavior successfully, and will monitor this new behavior closely.
