Taz  - Training Photos, Videos and Updates

Pawsitive Notes - Tracking Taz's Milestones

Got a Question?

  • 12/23/20 - Taz has been doing good on his walks and warmed up to everyone pretty fast.
  • 12/26/20 - Taz has adjusted well to the new location and is out in the pack having a great time!
  • ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  • 8/26/20 - Taz had a great walk today! He held a wonderful heel and showed a lot of confidence with good listening skills. He did whine a bit at some dogs barking at him from inside the house, so we worked "Leave-It" to get him to ignore them and continue his walk.
  • 8/28 - Taz is getting more comfortable and with that, naturally, comes more of the training issues. On today's walk, we passed another dog on leash and Taz ignored the "Leave-It", becoming reactive towards the other dog. He received a correction and was extremely apologetic afterwards. He didn't have any other issues passing dogs for the remainder of the walk.

  • 2/21 - Taz is adjusting to the new environment. He was extremely nervous at first, but finally let down his guard today out in the run with Jen, with lots of love and snuggles!
  • 2/23 - Taz has been very nervous and slow in progress, but turned a corner yesterday and graduated from being on leash around Mark's dogs, to being off leash, and even began attempting to play with them. He is a very sweet dog, but is quite insecure, and tries to overcompensate by becoming overly assertive, which can become aggressive if not caught right away. He has responded very well since Saturday, and with a very short stay, it's great that he's gotten to this stage in this compressed time frame given how nervous and reactive he has been.
  • 2/24 - Taz got some more excellent play time in with Rodeo and Drogo today! He did an amazing job and was happily running back and forth between Mark and Jen and attempting to play with both Rodeo and Drogo. (His favorite so far is old blue dog, Rodeo).
  • 2/26 - Taz spent more time with his buddies Rodeo and Drogo out in the sun today and had a great time! His confidence with his new friends has grown tremendously.
