Annie's Story
Well, I could say I adopted Annie, however she adopted me. I am Annie's fourth owner through no fault of hers. Annie always had difficulties getting along with other dogs. At her previous owner's home she attacked one of the greyhounds, rather then put her down, I elected to adopt Annie. Annie struggled with being aggressive with other dogs, however with time and patience she was able to get along with a few dogs and play with them. This last year I moved to Tampa and took Annie with me, she did not adjust to the change well and when we returned to Portland she was even more dog aggressive to the point of attacking my sister's dog Elizabeth (who is the sweetest dog). After that attack (no dog injuries) I was stuck and feeling frustrated and sad at the prospect of possibly having to euthanize Annie. It was then we found Mark's web site and contacted him the next day. Mark immediately scheduled an appointment with us that day. With in the first fifteen minutes the changes in Annie were noticeable, she was no longer doing the "death stare" at Elizabeth and was ducking behind his leg. The changes in five sessions has been amazing. Annie is able to meet new dogs with out feeling threatened and walks beside them with out acting out. She is such a joy to be around, she is more playful and gets along with other dogs. I can' t say enough for the training Mark gave to my sister and I and how much he has helped Annie!!. Thank you so much Mark!!
