In Loving Memory of Rodeo, LOTP Master Trainer
It is with heavy hearts that we said goodbye to our beloved friend and faithful companion, Rodeo, as he made his final journey across the Rainbow Bridge.
Rodeo has been at the heart of our work since 2008, working alongside Mark and the pack. Befriending humans and canines alike, Rodeo never met a stranger. Even the most aggressive dogs responded to his calm, reserved demeanor and happy disposition. Ever the cattle dog, he brought his razor-sharp focus to the pack, and lead the way by his example.
Rodeo has touched every dog that Leader of the Pack has worked with, along with their human companions, through his spirit and presence. He helped to shape the core of what we do, and has left his pawprints imprinted forever on the LOTP mission. Like Mark, Rodeo didn’t believe in giving up on any dog he ever met.
We would like to honor his life by sharing happy memories and photos of him with the pack. Please share your favorite Rodeo stories and pictures with us, so that they can be memorialized in tribute to all that he meant – to all of us.
In the words of Mark: “I could not have asked for a better friend, partner, family member and pack mate, than Rodeo, the most amazing dog of dogs. He was a king amongst commoners. I am forever grateful.”
Rest easy, Rodeo, and thank you for sharing your life with us. We know you are already watching over all the dogs at the Rainbow Bridge, as you watched over us. We miss you already.
