9/20 - Eldon is out in the full pack. He's not eager to engage or play with anyone, but tolerates their presence and general interactions.
9/23 - Eldon had a great walk with buddy Harrison. The pack walk helped Eldon show more interest in Harrison during socialization time in the run. Eldon did very well with his obedience skills during the walk as well, although "stay" is still pretty weak.
9/27 - Eldon is meeting new friends in the pack and doing well. Still no signs of play but he is hugging the outskirts less and will even lie down while others are playing nearby, showing that while not engaging, he has relaxed a lot!
9/30 - Eldon met new friend and fellow cattledog Ullr today! He is VERY interested in Ullr and eagerly sniffs at and hangs around him.
10/1 - 10/21 - Eldon has continued his stay with us, due to a health emergency with his owner, who unfortunately is no longer able to care for him. We have agreed to house Eldon and continue his socialization work with other dogs, while a suitable home is found. On 10/21/19 Eric, Brian's friend, collected Eldon to meet a potential new family. If all goes well, he will hopefully have a new forever home. If it is not a good fit, we will resume care for Eldon during a continued search for his forever home.

6/11 - Eldon is settling in now. He got out with the pack this weekend. He was timid to interact, but responded appropriately when engaged by another pack member. He had a good walk. Eldon did a bit of pulling and needed to be reminded to heel, but responded immediately when given the verbal command.
6/15 - Great walk today. Walked with Meadow and only needed verbal reminder to "Heel" here and there. He's getting pretty good with "Sit" but we still need a lot of work with "Stay"
6/18 - Eldon held a "Stay" on his walk today, just long enough to snap a few pictures. He's really been struggling with "Stay." This was a great first step!
6/20 - Eldon sat and held a short stay while on walk today!
