Latte's - Training Photos, Videos and Updates

Pawsitive Notes - Tracking Latte's Milestones

Got a Question?

  • 4/19/23 - Latte is adjusting well. She is comfortable enough now to show some of her sass. :)
  • 4/21/23 - Latte and her new friends Bee and Sam having a great time out in the run!
  • 4/21/23 -  Latte had such a great session today! She had no problem with me putting on or taking off the prong or using the double ring and she responded well to leash pressure. I worked on her sit, stay and recall too. She had lots of energy going into the walk and she tried running at some birds and some cars passing by, but used some light corrections and a verbal no and ignored them all the remainder of the walk. She is so smart and receptive to my cues and passed by two dogs without any reactions. She tugged on the leash a bit at the start of our walk but was heeling nicely next to me by the end as well.
  • 4/27/23 - Latte is doing so good. She has lots of energy as always. She lunged at a car and 1 dog at the beginning of the walk, but was immediately receptive to my corrections and then had no problem walking past dogs/cars after that. Overall she walks well on the leash. She does try to pull from time to time wanting to smell, so I've been using the "break" command throughout the walk to designate spots to sniff.
  • 4/29/23 - Latte and Sam are great together. They are enjoying the warmth and sunshine!
  • 5/5/23 - Overall Latte has been improving every session! She is reacting less and less to other dogs on walks, and did not have any reactions to other people/objects on our walk today. Her confidence is starting to grow and she’s becoming a lot more attentive with the handler and checking in/making eye contact for guidance. Listening to more and more cues and is relaxing a lot more on her own. I’ve been working on engagement/obedience while exposing her to the Netflix sound she reacts to - but we have not seen any reaction to it from her yet.
