  • ​9/12 - Lucca has been lunging and barking at any dog passing by his crate in the office. He is definitely slow to warm up to the dogs, but is a total love with the trainers.
  • 9/14 - Lucca has been working on his jumping and excitability. He still wants to jump up and put paws on you, but is starting to respond more quickly to "off".
  • 9/17 - We are doing very well with the  jumping now. Lucca still gets excited and jumps up, but hasn't put paws on anyone in days. When starting to jump/stand, a quick "uh-uh" gets him back down on all fours now.
  • 9/18 - We finally ran into other dogs on our walk today. Lucca completely ignored dogs across the street but reacted to a dog on the path ahead of us. He got a correction and had to sit as the dog walked by. At the end of the walk, we passed by some obnoxious dogs charging and barking at the fence. Lucca was told "Leave-It" and although he was interested in the dogs, he obeyed and kept walking without any incident.
  • 9/19 - Lucca got out on leash in the run with Rodeo and Drogo today and did well. He seems a little insecure and unsure of himself in the pack and is therefore a bit unpredicatable. He tried playing with Drogo a few times, but then quickly got uncomfortable. We will continue working him with Rodeo and Drogo to build his pack confidence.
  • 9/21 - Great walk! Passed a couple of dog 15 - 20 feet away. Lucca took notice of them, but no other reaction. Came across a couple of dogs barking and lunging at the fence. Lucca was interested but listened to "Leave-It" and kept walking. Not the best video below, as it happened so fast, but managed to catch the tail end of the encounter. :)
