OLIVER  - Training Photos, Videos and Updates

Pawsitive Notes - Tracking OLIVER's Milestones

Got a Question?

  • 3/19 - Oliver is warming up to the new environment and starting to bond a bit with Mark and Jen. He has been barking occasionally at the pup next to him and is starting to settle a bit with that already. He has barked at the fence line once so far. As he relaxes into the new environment, he will likely start showing his behavioral issues more.
  • 3/26 - Oliver had an excellent walk today! We passed a few unleashed dogs, a couple across the street and one a few houses ahead before we crossed and he didn't seem to notice or care. He did pull a bit on leash, but partly because he was so happy to walk with his new buddy Liam (Mark's son)! We passed some people in the street as well and he didn't seem to care. We'll push the proximity boundaries, getting closer in circumstances where we can and keep challenging him.
  • 3/28 - Oliver got out with Mark's dogs, Rodeo and Drogo today and did an excellent job socializing and responding appropriately to social cues!
  • 3/29 - Oliver got out with the larger pack this morning and had an absolute blast romping around with everyone. He did incredibly well socializing with the larger pack!!!
  • 4/2 - Oliver has been out with rotating pack members and is having a blast! He's been tearing around with new friends and paying excellent attention to various social cues.
  • 4/5 - Oliver has been doing well on his walks. He basically ignores any dogs at a distance. He was a little on edge with a passing dog that started barking at him first and lunged, earning a correction. The remainder of the walk, he ignored all other dogs in passing.
  • 4/8 - Oliver met a group of dogs in the park. The first one rushed up to him so we worked "Leave-It" and backed up a bit, but Oliver seemed unphased and handled it so well! With that calm response, he was allowed to individually meet the other dogs in the pack and was calm, cool, and collected like a pro!
  • 4/9 - Oliver had a pack walk with Drogo and did incredibly well! He passed dogs on the sidewalk without issue and even a small barking dog only tied up by a leash, Oliver listened to Mark's "Leave-It" and passed on by without any reaction at all! (Always an extra challenge in a pack walk and he rocked it)!

  • 6/18 - Oliver is settling into the pack without a hitch! He's out with everyone again, listening very well and having a great time romping around with friends!
  • 6/24 - We had quite a few new friends join the pack this weekend and Oliver did extremely well interacting with all of them! He's so excited to meet new friends and playmates!
  • 6/25 - Oliver does such a great job of respectfully working to try and get other dogs out of their shells and engage in play!
  • 6/26 - Oliver is out in the full pack with 9 other dogs and leading the group in play. What a rockstar!
