• ​9/12/21 - Peaches is settling in to her new surroundings, and is already having a great time chasing apples and playing with us! We are working with her on not jumping on people {the "off" command), as well as barking at the other dogs when they are in their crates (the "quiet" command).
• 9/19/21 - Peaches is working on her socialization skills with trainer dog Drogo, and is having a great time playing with him! We have seen some dominant social behaviors, but have been able to correct them when she doesn't respond to Drogo's cues. She has also begun to display some dominant behavior with the trainers (such as mounting legs, resisting entering her crate), as well as some aggressive/dominant behaviors towards the other dogs, including lunging at their crates when moving through the training area, and snarling and barking at them when food is involved. We are working to correct these behaviors as well. Overall she is a very sweet and affectionate girl!
• 12/16/21 - Peaches has settled back into the Pack, and is already enjoying her time here! We are working with her on her demand-barking while in the crate, as well as lunging at other dogs in their crates. We are also working with her on her leash behavior, addressing her pulling and reactivity on-leash.
• 12/20/21 - Peaches is working on her socialization skills with trainer dog Drogo! She is having a great time playing, and though her play style can be a little rough, she is doing very well responding to cues from Drogo and verbal corrections when needed. She is still pulling on leash, but has improved dramatically, and is becoming much more responsive to corrections when she has a reaction. We are so proud of her progress!
