Rhino the Little Prince
My name is Whitney and last year from Christmas I got a puppy. He was a nine pound rescue and I was told he was a sweet black lab. I named him Rhino and not long after I brought him home for keeps did he start living up to his name. At ten months old and eighty pounds I was at my wits end. Rhino was a biter, a barker, a chewer, a butthead, and extremely disobedient. I had tried four different trainers, puppy classes, books, everything. My friends and family told me to get rid of him and my neighbors called animal control--I called Leader of the Pack.
We live in Southern California so LOTP wasn't on my radar until a friend recommended it to me. After an hour on the phone with Mark I was convinced this is what Rhino and I both needed. I signed Rhino up for two weeks of live-in training. We made the long and beautiful drive up to Portland and crossed our fingers.
When I returned for my little prince I met a perfect gentleman. I was overwhelmingly surprised at the difference in my dog. Mark spent the day working with us and teaching me how to work with Rhino. It was my training that was the most vital. I learned how my dog's mind and body operate and how to use that information to lead him.
When we returned home I expected some digression on one or both of our parts--this was not the case. It was very easy for me to maintain and enjoy my dog from day one after LOTP training. In the month that has past I have been very pleased to notice the permanent changes in my dog's (and my) behavior and interactions. My friends and family and even my neighbors love to have Rhino come over and go for walks with us. He is one hundred pounds now and still growing and we are closer than ever. I love my giant puppy and I am extremely grateful to the LOTP family for all their help.
Leader of the Pack training works because the Dunlap's' are committed to healthy happy dogs and are very well educated and practiced in the psychosocial, emotional, and cognitive development of dogs. I am an extremely satisfied customer. It was worth every penny and every mile.
