  • ​7/10/21 - Tycho is settling in to his new surroundings, and is already warming up to us, as well as eating like a champ!
  • 7/14/21 - Tycho went for his first training walk, and did great! He was very responsive to correction and instruction when confronted with triggers and other dogs on the walk. We have also begun to observe some of his aggressive and resource guarding tendencies, barking and snarling at other dogs while in his crate, especially when food is involved. We are working to correct these behaviors.
  • 7/18/21 - Tycho had a breakthrough today, having his first successful off-leash introduction with trainer dog Drogo! Tycho displayed genuine social interest and a desire to play, and did a great job responding to Drogo's cues.
  • 7/21/21 - Tycho hit another milestone today, having a successful pack walk and a great socialization session with pack member Agador! They had a wonderful time getting to know each other and playing in the training area. Tycho did show some dominant behaviors, but was very responsive to verbal corrections and to Agador's cues. He is showing very positive indicators of being a social dog and solid pack member.
