Wednesday  - Training Photos, Videos and Updates

Pawsitive Notes - Tracking Wednesday's Milestones

Got a Question?

  • 2/18 - Wednesday is adjusting quickly to the new environment and is already out in the pack making new friends!
  • 2/19 - As she gets more comfortable, Wednesday is getting more vocal and stubborn with following commands. Now the real training begins!
  • 2/24 - Wednesday is doing an excellent job sitting on command when treats or food is involved, but is still struggling with following directions in the pack with distractions (which is definitely a challenge at first for most dogs).
  • 2/28 - Wennie had a good walk today. She got a little excited with a couple of passing dogs, but did a much better job of listening to "Leave-It" than they did. Her heel isn't perfect, but is pretty good and will easily be fine tuned to a bit more practice. She does a great job of checking in occasionally to make sure she's getting your approval. We worked the extra challenge of doing obedience in the park with distractions. She did very well with her sit, but stay still needs some work, especially if you try and put any distance between you.
  • 3/2 - Wednesday has done well. Her listening in the pack with distractions has improved, especially while in the midst of play. She's very treat motivated, but extremely high energy in her puppy mode and will eagerly aim to please, although a little wildly still. You can tell she knows the commands, she just gets overly excited to get to the positive reinforcement aspect of the work!
